Achievements:

All Children Charity International Foundation (ACCIF), since its establishment has executed lots of projects that have impacted positively on the lives of persons with special needs in the State. These projects and programmes executed are as follows:

1. We have initiated the presentation of a private Bill on Disability Discrimination Act to the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
2. Treatment and Rehabilitation of a mentally unstable woman
3. We initiated and supervised the re-constructions furnishing and equipping of the new KASSES clinic which was commissioned 20th February 2007 together with the computers and furnishing which was Initiated and supervised. 4. We also initiated and supervised the construction of a Recreation Shad for girls Hostel in KASSES.
5. ACCIF in March 2008, organized an interactive session /mini-census parents children with disabilities and their parents.
6. ACCIF provided medical assistance to a boy of about the age of ten who suffered from chronic leg ulcer. He was treated at ABUTH Shika.
7. ACCIF also in this current year has provided medical aid to a teenager known by the name Diana who suffered from chronic appendicitis and is still being cared for by ACCIF.
8. Also in the month of July 2008, ACCIF organized a one day leadership seminar for the Joint Association of Women with Disabilities.
9. ACCIF provided legal service for fifteen [15] year old girl; Aisha who was immorally impregnated by a 50 old man. And also took care of the girl until her delivery period and is still providing legal and financial assistance to her.
10. ACCIF also organized a two weeks vocational training and skill acquisition workshop on beads, hair cream and Vaseline making for ten[10] hearing impaired girls and presented them with a certificate at the closing ceremony.
11. An assessment visit to Kaduna State Special Education School {KASSES} and the following a. Kaduna State Rehabilitation Centre, Kakuri Kaduna. b. Government Technical College, Malali Kaduna, assessment visit. c. Demonstration School for the Deaf Children Kawo Kaduna.
12. An evaluation of teachers and students of KASSES,2007.
13. ACCIF organized fun party for graduating KASSES students in 2006 and 2007.
14. On the initiative of ACCIF – The Kaduna State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi was invited to visit KASSES. The visit was an eye opener to the Governor as he was not pleased with the state of affairs in the school. Consequently upon the Governor’s visit the following steps taken by the government. - A panel was set up immediately to investigate the affairs of the school - Renovation of the school commenced almost immediately - Money for feeding the students was increased which led to an improvement in the quality and quantity of the students meals - New mattresses and treated mosquito nets were provided to the students by the government. - The student dining hall was renovated furnished. - New development are on going.
15. ACCIF paid treatment of ten years old KASSES pupils diagnosed of kidney ailment who late died. He was treated for four months at ABUTH Shika [we got support from voluntary donors].
16. Christmas gifts to special Education staff of technical college Malali
17. Christmas gifts to students and staffs of Kaduna State Special Education[KASSES]
18. Christmas gifts to sick children in St. Gerald Catholic Hospital Kaduna South.
19. ACCIF SUN SHINE CENTRE [Resource Centre] is now opened.
